THE MASK

While living in Melbourne in 2015, I collaborated with photographer Adam Purcell on a project called The Mask. Words from Rumi formed the foundation for the project and photoshoot:

“Tear off the mask, your face is glorious.”

I learnt a lot throughout the process of the project; that acknowledging a block (mask) can be a way of moving through that block - can you remain as closed if you are being open about being closed? I also learnt that collaboration can be a transformative, powerful and effortless process.
