Rainbow - A Poem for The Chakras
When I stand steady on two feet and the red earth pulses underneath
A stirring travels, then turns to a flow and my sacred places are an amber glow
A churn engages and a spark ignites yellow bellows from a belly so bright
To a meadow that extends to sheer expansion my fresh green pastures begin to awaken
Breathing blue to exhale the truth opening out from the throat and mouth
I now see out with clarity and vision indigo with its insights illuminates the imagination
and sitting still amongst it all sits violet, the wise sage full and tall.
